Who can use this feature?
Only Champions and Administrators can approve and reject book reports.

When members submit a book report, it must be approved or rejected by a Champion or Administrator. Members can only earn points for reading a book when their report has been approved.

Approving Book Reports

  1. Hover over the gear icon in the navigation bar at the top of the page and select Manage Book Reports.

  2. Newly submitted book reports will appear at the top of the page. Select a title to view the report.

  3. After reviewing, select Approve Report.

  4. Confirm your approval by selecting "Ok, great!" in the dialog box.

Note: A notification will be sent to the user when his or her report has been approved.

Rejecting Book Reports

  1. Hover over the gear icon in the navigation bar at the top of the page and select Manage Book Reports.

  2. Newly submitted book reports will appear at the top of the page. Select a title to view the report.

  3. After reviewing, select Reject Report.

  4. In the dialog box, select the reason for rejecting the report from the drop-down list, then select Reject Report. If you choose "Other," more detail is required in the text box provided in order to reject the report.

Note: A notification is sent to the member explaining why the report was rejected. The message in the email will reflect the reason selected. The report will also appear as "Flagged" on the member's Dashboard under the Book Reports section. This is where a member can edit and resubmit the report.

Reports can be sorted in ascending or descending order by Person, Title, Date Submitted, Status, or Reason by clicking on their respective cells at the top of the table.
